Aglaonema crete - Chinese Evergreen

Aglaonema Crete is a colourful twist on the classic Chinese Evergreen, with lush green leaves splashed and edged with shades of red and pink. Even its stems get involved, bringing another hit of pink that makes this a great choice when a space is calling for something a little more colourful than your usual greenery. (⁠RHS)

Like other Aglaonemas, Crete is relatively slow-growing and easy-going, making it well suited to indoor planting schemes. It prefers indirect light, with a little more brightness helping it hold onto those brilliant red and pink tones. Its compact, bushy growth works particularly well in floor-standing planters, troughs and mixed planting displays, where it brings plenty of colour without demanding too much attention.
