Below are answers to some of the questions that we are frequently asked:
You will need to ensure that the reservoir in the Christmas tree stand does not run dry. Trees placed near radiators or air conditioning units can dry out more quickly, so we recommend checking the water level daily.
Keep the reservoir topped up to the brim with tap water to help the tree stay fresh throughout December and to minimise needle drop. Our installation team will fill the reservoir with water when the tree is first installed.
Please ensure there is a power supply available for the lights. This includes access to a plug socket and a suitable extension lead if needed. For safety, we kindly ask that any cables are positioned carefully so they do not create a trip hazard.
Our lights operate on an 8 hour timer, which cannot be overridden.
If the lights do not appear to be working, please first try unplugging the lights and plugging them back in.
The lights also have several settings, such as flashing or twinkling. If you would prefer the lights to stay on a constant setting, please press the clear button on the light socket. This will cycle through the different modes so you can select the one you prefer.
Yes, all of our lights are PAT tested every year to ensure they are safe to use. Each set of lights will have a PAT testing sticker attached to confirm this.
All baubles, decorations and lights supplied with the tree remain the property of Plant Plan. We kindly ask that these are not removed.
If any items are missing when the tree is collected, replacement charges may apply.
