Field Scheduler

The Scheduler is responsible for planning the weekly and daily workload of the Maintenance Technicians.

Duties

  • Proactively plan the following weeks workload for the Techs you’re responsible for.

  • Upload jobs to the JobLogic system and other systems as appropriate.

  • Reactive planning – ensure any issues, missed calls, complaints etc. are resolved as fast as possible.

  • Hit your SLAs for customer complaints and issues, and communicate quickly with all stakeholders regarding the solution and time-frames for delivering this.

  • Track overdue and missed visits each day, and ensure these are planned back in as a priority.

  • Work closely with the team at all levels to efficiently deliver an excellent standard of customer service and care.

  • Be the first contact for Technicians who feel they need to miss a call or who have an issue they can’t resolve immediately on-site. Find immediate solutions where possible, and plan in a visit to resolve the problem if it can’t be fixed immediately.

  • Take a proactive approach to round optimisation, and if a round isn’t working or could be more efficient work with the team to improve it.

  • Take responsibility for ensuring Pronett and Lineker sites within your remit are maintained prior to each months deadline.

  • Provide cover and support to other members of the Contract Admin team if required.

Requirements

  • Strong IT and keyboard skills.

  • A logical, data-driven approach to problem solving and planning.

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities without getting fazed.

  • Good people and communication skills.

  • Able to withstand pressure and push-back from Technicians, and keep them to plan.

  • Strong geographical awareness including towns/cities and road networks.

  • Prior experience in route planning and reactive scheduling are a must.

  • Passionate about achieving efficiency and maximising output.

  • Driven to deliver an excellent customer service.
