Maintenance Support Team Leader & Depot Manager

A leader for our Maintenance Support Team and oversee daily London depot operations.

Duties

  • Ensure the London depot is run efficiently and with a high level of organisation.

  • Oversee all H&S, Pest Control, Fire Safety, Cleaning, etc. responsibilities at our London depot.

  • Stock level management, ordering plants, sundries & materials as required.

  • Ensuring the correct plants, sundries & materials are delivered to our field-based technicians to enable them to fulfil the requirements of our maintenance contracts.

  • Delivering the highest level of Customer Service to our clients, reacting quickly and positively as required, sometimes at short notice.

  • Taking responsibility and providing swift and effective resolutions to customer concerns.

  • A lateral thinker with a can-do attitude, providing a positive influence to the staff working from our London depot and the wider Maintenance team.

  • Believe in and be a role model for our company values.

  • Support the Maintenance Team Manager with low-level HR requirements.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Previous management experience.

  • Previous building management experience.

  • Organised, positive, motivational, and a can-do attitude.

  • Willing to be hands-on and step in to support the team if required.

  • Willing to go above and beyond at short notice to ensure the highest level of customer service to our clients at all times.

  • Be a role model for our company values and hold your team accountable for upholding these.

  • Flexibility around working hours to support team/client needs.

  • A good knowledge of interior and exterior plants and their care/maintenance.

  • A high level of initiative, able to think laterally to ensure efficient resolutions.

  • Awareness and respect for H&S requirements and ensuring that these are adhered to by every member of the team at all times.

  • Able to work closely and collaboratively with other Leaders, Managers, and departments.

  • Proficient IT user – Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Sheets, etc.

  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

  • Fluent English speaker.
