Rhipsalis

Rhipsalis is a genus of epiphytic or lithophytic cacti, typically native to tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America, as well as parts of Africa and Madagascar. Unlike many cacti, Rhipsalis species do not have the traditional spiny appearance. Instead, they are characterized by thin, cylindrical, often jointed stems that can resemble strands or ropes. Their stems can be green or sometimes reddish, and they often grow in a cascading or trailing manner.
