Asplenium nidus, commonly known as the bird's nest fern, is a popular and attractive houseplant belonging to the Aspleniaceae family. It is native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, Australia, and the Pacific Islands. This fern is known for its large, glossy, lance-shaped fronds that emerge from a central, nest-like rosette, giving it the appearance of a bird's nest, hence the common name.
